Rights and Licensing
- Commissions do not come with commercial license or rights unless explicitly stated otherwise.
> If you wish to negotiate a commercial license or rights please let me know before you order so we can discuss it.
- I retain the rights to use my artwork as examples in my portfolio, while you retain the rights to your character(s). I generally do not sell anything with commissioned work on it, but if in the future I choose to do so, I will contact the commissioner(s) for permission first.
- You may use any received artwork for personal / non-commercial use and display the watermarked version of said work online, so long as you credit me as the original artist. Linking back to my website or social media is also requested where possible.
I reserve the right to refuse or cancel commissions for any reason - including, but not limited to: subject matter, time, skill, etc.
If I cancel the commission, you will be refunded 100% of any payments made up to that point.

Commission Process
Once payment has cleared and all commission details have been received, you will be added to the current working list and you will be updated as I proceed on your commission.
If you need to cancel a commission after I have begun work, you will only be refunded 50% of payment.
Small changes can be made (where possible) as the commission progresses.
I will notify you when:
1 - I begin your request,
2 - for a sketch stage approval, and
3 - for any final changes before the commission is finished up and sent out.
Further in progress photos or images of works are available on request.
When a commission is finished, you will be shipped the original work if traditional or emailed a full size, un-watermarked copy of the work if digital. Both will also receive a smaller watermarked version suitable for display online.
Once you receive the final work or files, you may use it for personal / non-commercial use and display the watermarked version of said work online, so long as you credit me as the original artist. Linking back to my website or social media is also requested where possible.

FAQ
Can I discuss a commission with you before requesting a slot / ordering?
- Yes, please do. Particularly if you are unsure about the type, volume, or content of work you want, I would much rather come to an agreement before taking on a commission.
How long will my commission take?
- Commissions will vary in wait time depending upon the type of art requested. Generally speaking, expect to wait about 2 - 4 weeks for a piece unless I tell you otherwise.
Can I request updates on my commission while you work?
- Yes, certainly! I won't always be able to reply right away (as it usually requires being at my laptop), but I'm happy to update you on progress as soon as I can.
